The sky

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of my time looking up
The sky
The vast cavernous rooftop that is endless and ever changing
It’s a connection between me and and the world
A path from me to you
A deep pit of blue, peppered with stars, stretching far and wide
A cocoon in which the earth rests
A way in
The way out
